• Drug and Alcohol Support
• Telepsychiatry
• Youth friendly Group Programs
• Parent based Programs.

If you are 12-25 years we are here for you. No professional or GP referral needed but can be provided. There is generally no wait times for our programs.

headspace Mount Barker

Mental Health Services for young people aged between 12 and 25 years of age.

Programs (Delivered either face to face or via Telehealth):

Open Door – brief intervention, one at a time therapy, appointments offered within a few days of receipt of referral from self, family, GP or other professionals.
Core Program – mild to moderate presentations for mental health counseling, 6 -12 sessions, referral from self, family, GP or other professionals.
Evolve – more complex referrals and presentations, longer term therapy, referral from self, family, GP or other professionals.
Headspace Work and Study – online support for young people wanting to access employment or receive help with difficulties at school.
Private psychologist – 6 -12 therapeutic sessions with a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral letter from a GP.
Psychiatrist consultations via referral from your GP.
GP services for access to physical and sexual health related issues.

Groups:
UQT group – run fortnightly for LGBTQIA+ young people at headspace Mount Barker.
Hang Out group – run fortnightly, drop in group with changing themes each group.

All programs and groups are free of charge.
